To address the pressure of rapid growth in the South Brisbane - West End area, Brisbane City Council commissioned a detailed study (Impact Assessment Statement) to determine the impacts of a new toll bridge, the Hale Street Link. A Project version of Consultation Manager is being used by the project alliance for this study.

Tarong Transport Alliance

Tarong Energy has formed the Tarong Transport Alliance with Leighton Contractors and Parsons Brinckerhoff to build a new coal transport system to supply Tarong Power Station for the 30 years after 2010.

"Consultation Manager provides a central database (corporate memory) for all stakeholder related communication including meetings, project hotline, issues raised and fact sheets distributed. Weekly reports highlighting any issues raised by stakeholders are fed back to the relevant team members so they can be promptly acted upon.
